Federation Fleet Box - It Exists!

The first (of many) Federation fleet boxes landed in the UK this afternoon - we quickly snapped a picture of it, ably modelled by the lovely Kat;

Just a quick question - pre ordered my fed fleet box the day they went online but having read some of the stuff about metal ships was wondering what the score is with the fleet boxes produced/being produced...are these all resin as with the first batch of squadron boxes or are they being swapped out for metal versions?

The Federation sets currently going out are resin, the others are being converted to metal as I type. Federation will be converted to metal as soon as the Romulan and Klingon sets are shipping.

Can you let us know when all the Fleets are going out metal. I am holding off on the Feds till I know its metal not resin.

Nothing against resin but I may as well go for all of the same. Easier for me to throw paint on :lol:
