Fantasy Europe

Hi Guys,

The handsome guy with his old friend Loz (wink! wink!) on his knee is me. Stupor Mundi looks brilliant, clear layout, nice art by Dario Corallo, all great stuff, I tried to hunt down a copy all con, but missed the author.

Available here. The PDF version for those who cannot wait for the mailman to deliver their copy will be on DriveThru in a matter of days, possibly tomorrow.

And many thanks to both Simons (Bray & Phipp) too!

Greetings,

Your fantasy Europe supplement looks fascinating and I look forward to buying it. A long while back, I ran an RQ3 campaign set in 1050 AD. It was set on the Island of Cyprus or rather the Byzantine Theme of Kyprios. The RQ system worked quite well.
As far as the whole religious question went, the Holy Roman Empire was staunchly Christian under the rule of the aging but still dynamic Otto III. My version of the Byzantine Empire was far more eclectic with the major religions being Mithraism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Not to mention some of the minor religions. It makes for an interesting town square.
Once I get the new RQ books next week, I plan on running a campaign set in Caroligian Europe. Again, I look forward to getting your work as I already have Cthulhu Dark Ages and this will give me information on the later Medieval Period.
