Fabricators in the 3rd Imperium/Charted Space

Are Fabricators available/used in the 3rd Imperium/Charted Space universe? I have players wanting to use them but I wanted clarification from the community. Thanks!

Depends on the canon you wish to allow.

In MWM's Third Imperium they are called makers and are much more versatile than those presented in MgT.

As far as I am aware, they are available and used. Having said that, I also know people who do not use them in their TU. I consider every workshop to have a small TL-appropriate fabricator for maintenance and repairs. That way, I use a percentage of the Supply Units as feedstock for the fabricators.
