Excel Ship Designer v2025.11.12

Weird that it does that on that page and not on any others.
The drop downs for each program starts with a field populated by ="" to give a blank in the dropdown.
The TL, Bandwidth and cost for those are all 0, so there should not be an N/A in those fields.
Can you do a screenshot with a dropdown open?

@Arkathan so it turns out the house rule for using the SCC fuel rules for everything is actually an official rule. Deepnight Revelations 4, page 78 is pretty much the same rule but for all ships.
Close, but the newer implementation does not include DnR-4's lower limit of .1 tons. It uses the new small craft rule for anything. Thus a house rule.
If you want to follow the DnR small tank rule, you have to do it manually, because you can go below 0.1.

Another case of two rules for the same thing that don't match up. Who was it that asked for examples in another thread?

Ok, so why doesn't the sheet default to a minimum of 0.1 tons for the fuel tank for non small craft then? Since that seems to be the official rule now.

Sorry, rant time.
Matt has flat out said they don't have any kind of master rules documents and doesn't want them. But it causes problems like this not having them. ::sigh::

The small craft rule supersedes the DnR rule, in the same way that the 6 ton bridges for 100 ton ships in the updated Core Rulebook supersedes the 10 ton bridge rule they used for making 100 ton ships in that same Core Rulebook.
There are a few rules that are stupid and I refuse to implement them. The .1 fuel conflicting with the small craft fuel being one such an example. Instead, I accommodate it without enforcing it.
