Excel Ship Designer v2025.02.08

Gravimetric Distorter: This weapon creates a distortion
field that negates the effect of grav plating. Each
gravimetric distorter can effect an area equivalent to one
hundred tons of displacement (that is, an entire 100 ton
ship or smaller, or part of a larger ship). This means all
crew and items in the area will be subject to zero gravity
conditions, unless the ship expends Thrust in which
case they will be subject to high gravity conditions (see
Traveller Core Rulebook, page 76). The effect lasts for
one round. These weapons are more commonly used by
pirates than naval forces although dedicated boarding
parties do sometimes make use of them.

Missed deleting it because I was going by the new tables, making corrections, and just assumed it came from a different book... which it only kind of did.

New Version: 2025.02.02

Fixed User defined weapons and hardpoint - Thanks for finding that, Terry
Class - Role displays on the Summary
The Summary now indicates if a Computer is the Backup
Weapons in multi-use turrets are now separated by commas in the Summary listing

So, in the Modular Cutter discussion, Fluffy Bunny Feet pointed out something I missed:

What made me wonder was in HG22 page 10 it says "Note that planetoid hulls cannot use specialized or additional hull types, listed in the following sections."

So I fixed the spreadsheet to work that way. BUT, I added three House Rule toggles to let you ignore various parts of this rule.

New Version: 2025.02.08

Planetoid Hulls more compliant with HG'22
Fixed a power calculation for Hardpoint 1 when Mixed Use is active.

Thank you very much for making and upkeeping this awesome spreadsheet. I really like mongooses T2 High Guard 2022 but I just wish someone would use your spreadsheet to check ship designs before books get published. The amount of errors in ship write ups is ludicrous, they give us these great and easy to use ship design rule yet 2/3 of their own ship write ups don’t follow these rules in one way or another. From ignoring crew or other requirements, miss added tonnage, description not matching, to just plain not thinking when converting.
