Thank you.
I also ended up doing a fair bit of head-scratching over interpretations of the wording in HG (both versions) as there are some ambiguities.
Does the Grav Screen need a dedicated gunner. The section about crew says one gunner per screen (commercial) or 2 per screen (military). But the grav screen isn't in the screens section, but is in the customisation section and reads more like an add-on 'scrambler' sort of thing than a 'real' defensive screen. So it's hard to know the intent there.
The other thing was about the "x crew per tonnage" calculations (page 23, HG2020). Medics and mechanics for example, say "1 crew per" (and it's related to crew & passengers, or tonnage, respectively). I cannot see anywhere that the calculation is "or part thereof". So a mechanic (1 per 1000 tons, for a commercial ship) isn't required until you get to a 1,000 dTon ship. Several designs (I have not checked every single one!) in High Guard and other books seem to adhere to this.
On the crew tab (and summary sheet) the crew figures seem to adhere to the "or part thereof" interpretation. (i.e. rounding up, not rounding down). Is there some option here that I've missed? (For example, the venerable Type-R, page 189 of HG2022 does have a medic listed, but not a mechanic, which clearly means it's breaking the rule in one way, or another!)
