EoM Theleb K'Aarna Stats

Cosmic Mongoose
I'm not sure if this is an error, or I've misunderstood something, but I can't believe he only has 11 POW with 10 dedicated to Chaos. How can he function as one of the YK's most powerful human sorcerers with only 1 MP available? I was going to use him as a villain in my campaign, but I might not now.

I don't have EoM, but that does sound like a drawback - in base RQ if you either have Divine Magic then you don't need MPs. Having to dedicate POW to Chaos as well as cast spells with your MPs sounds like a major drawback. This is probably a typo, a bad ass like Theleb K'Aarna probably has a POW of 21 (what POW stats do other big guns have?), but the general point still stands. Are extra MPs more easily available in EoM than in base MRQ2?

in the earlier Stormbringer edition he had something like POW 25

so 21 sounds good
Maybe the 11 is supposed to be after deduction of Dedicated POW. Does it list his MPs under his derived attributes?

My interpretation (Not sure if correct) is that he has 21 Pow but only 11 magic points available.
Looking at the novels I would add the ability to summon ghouls from limbo at 5pts each (as per Magioc of the Young Kingdoms )
A Meld rune might be useful if a GM wants him to create bizarre creatutres like the Chaos Butterfly he sends to kill Elric.

Its typo.

He has 11 MP available and 10 POW in Pact.

I think this is still slightly low, but then again he is just human and it says a few times in the books he depends on his relationship with higher beings quite a bit.

He also does a lot of summoning which he probably boosts with sacrifices (most likely small primates with the odd human thrown in for good measure).

Thanks for clearing that up folks, I didn't think it was correct.

He would certainly need a boost to summon Quaolnargn and then use a Transfer Rune on Elric as per his activities in The Stealer of Souls.

Yeah. Definitely wouldn't want to be a slave in his household that annoyed/upset him would you! And if you were enemy, I think you'd prefer death over capture - unless of course you have the means to escape before he sent your soul to hell...
