EFTF SAS M203 question

Mongoose
I'm sure this was posted elsewhere but Search didn't throw anything up.

M203 Underslung Grenade Launcher: Each Rifl eman has an underslung grenade launcher attached to his
M416.

So does this mean that the Sgt. and Cpl. don;t have UGLS even though they have the same weapon as the Riflemen?

by the card yes, only the recon get the UGL all round, that said not all SAS carry a UGL so it sorta fits, also the SAS prefer the canadian version of the M4 and use the H&K UGL, minor points i know but still.

Not sure if this helps, as I don't know the SAS operating principle re: this issue and I don't know what MGP intended, but I do wish to state in the USMC, even cooks and clerks are considered "Riflemen" first and foremost.

More importanly to this discussion, looking at the models in my hand right now, the only models without the underslung GL are the Snipers and the Machine-Gunners. So, based upon the fact the models which are clearly labeled "EFTF SAS Sergeant w/M416" and "EFTF SAS Coporal w/M416" have the M203 attached to their rifle, I'd have to say the SAS leaders DO have the M203. Also, the actual unranked riflemen have labels which read "EFTF SAS Rifleman w/M416." Nowhere does it mention the M203 on the riflemen's labels, so it's lack on the leaders' cannot be used to argue for them not to have it.

In closing, I'd definitely have to say they do have them, as the models show them, and the SAS are supposed to be as tough and well-equipped as US Marines.

Sorry to further the "minor point" but the Canadian M4 is labelled the C8 and was made by Diemaco Canada. Sadly Diemaco has been bought out (sold out!) to Colt and now operates under the name of "Colt Canada" I guess that the SAS are carrying a lil piece of Canadian history!

P.S. It's kinda like a free bump!

Good enough for me.

Indeed, I checked the models myself and can see nodifference in the weapons held by the team leaders, but I'm looking for an official Mongoose answer. We're constantly told play the rules as written.

The SAS card says:

M203 Underslung Grenade Launcher: Each Rifleman has an underslung grenade launcher attached to his
M416.

The USMC Force Recon card says:

M320 Grenade Launcher: All SCAR-L carbines have an underslung grenade launcher.

The SAS card specifically states Rifleman, whereas the USMC Force Recon card states each SCAR-L, hence my asking.

The Sergeant and Corporal have the UGL too.
