Hey guys, people have mentioned the valerius in another thread plus some other bits so heres an updated version to download.
only differance from the previous is the Valerius had 4AD beam instead of 5. it already has less AD on other weapons than an octurion so i dont think it is too ad when people consider ships like the G'vrahn.

feedback appreciated.
oh and court jester hows the reimaging coming along?

I thought the 5Ad beam was fine, I wouldn't even have argued too much with a 6 ad one, but it would most definately have mae the octurion defunct... much like the bintak currently is!

I haven't read through it yet, but my concern is the statement about the G'Vrahn.

I know folks don't like to see stuff nerf'd down, but do we have to now start using the top end through to broken ships as the standard for stats? I always thought that you started with mid range ships and didn't want to drift to near the 'endcap' ships of a pl. Just a thought.

well its not as good a s g'vrahn. take an octurion, lower its beam AD by 2 but make it DD (which is what alot of races do lose 2AD but gain the next damage multiplier) and range 25. also lose 2AD on both the front matter cannons and ion cannons but in return gain a GEG2. so its actually not that much over an octurion but just enough for new tech. unlike the g'vrahn/bin'tak debate.
