Early MEA Tunguska Preview

I know what you mean Evil, but the Tunguska was produced in 1988, I think it's unlikely that any European nation would be using it in 2020.

However I can see definite possible overlap between the USMC and the EFTF (such as with the Apache).

any european state actually uses apache?
i guess brits may,but i'd guess that the Tiger would be the main assult copter.
of course, it gets even more funny when you realize that all the new EU countries(or almost all) have a LOT of post-sov stuff, so an Mi-24 wouldn't be out of place in the EFTF, along with T-72 and MIG-29's

Works for me

Finland won with the highest score ever by the way!

I like this model, can't wait to unleash 30mm autocannons on enemy infantry

Do you expect the rough and ready MEA forces to deploy these things based on standard Russian tactical concepts?

Well the goverments organised army might very well do that. MEA isn't just freedom fighters. There's also going to be govermental forces and one would think they would have some sort of organisation/tactical concept and if they buy russian vechiles it might be logical they adopt tactical concepts as well(atleast part of them).

What Middle Eastern country uses Tunguskas or most likely will in 2010? I can only find Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, India, Morocco, Armenia, Peru and Algeria using them. I thought the MEA was a Middle Eastern Iran/Iraq/Syria/Egypt/Jordan kind of alliance, ie, the upcoming Zulfiqar tank is Iranian. None of the MEA countries have Tunguskas so where do they fit in the game?

The Middle East seems to inherit Russian technology once it is 10-15-20 years old. Perhaps this is just a logical conclusion.

Exactly, we have to remember that BFE is 10-15 years in the future, and the year atm is 2007. Therefore 2020 is a fair estimate of when this is set, rather than 2010, and I'd say it's entirely possible that they might have got their hands on some with the war drums sounding.

Okay that's cool, makes sense. I was just checking in case someone had info on new Tunguska buyers. I want my second army (MEA) to be as close to a future Iranian army as possible while still getting my hands on that great model.
