Drow War Trilogy, what do I need to play????

Books wise I mean.

I notice some of the cover art on the site has the d20 logo, so are these books version 3 or 3.5.

I have the three core books for 3rd edition, I also have the Mongoose Pocket Player's and GM's books which are basically the 3.5 SRD IIRC

What other books if any would I need to run this campaign, I seem to remember someone saying that the Epic Level Handbook would be handy.

Anyone help me out here, I have some MI Demo Credit to burn and the Drow War bundle seems tempting.

They are 3.5, and you'll definately want the epic handbook for book 3.

Wouldn't take much effort running it with v3 rulebooks IMO

Having just reread your post, I think you have all you need.

Epic handbook won't come in to play until book 3 so worth getting the campaign first, and then picking that up if you think you'll make it to the end (campaign could easily end at climax of book 2)

I agree, you have everything you need.

As for running it 3.5 or 3.0, just run what ever your happy with though the 3.5 system has less rule holes (though they still contain them).

Good luck, I am looking at that as being a future game to run...

Caution to DMs/Players...

This may be a problem my group had or not but bear in mind that as far as Epic levels go...

Example
You are NOT an Epic Fighter unless you have 20 levels of fighter. A Fighter 15/Wizard10 is an Epic Character. But has no Epic class levels. So what we do is level up our characters after 21st level normlly- unless you are taking your 21st level in a class.
