Drow War I- Columbe mansion problems

Perhaps I'm missing reading something..but I seem to be missing a few things from the Columbe mansion.

In the Colombe mansion:
1. The kitchen (10) isn't on the map...but I assume its the room directly north of the Dining Hall (6)..If so..where do the stairs in it lead to? It couldn't be to the cellar as it faces AWAY from the room (5) with the hole in the floor (you can see into the cellar through the hole).
2. Where do the stairs in areas 11 & 12(the cellars) lead to? In other words, how do you go down to the cellars without jumping into the hole in room 5.
3. There is no door into 18 & there is no door into 20 from the corridor. A mistake? or is there another way into these rooms?
5. There are a number of 5 ft square rooms on the map..are these closets? bathrooms? what?
6. What alignment are the Dogmen in room 2? I can't see it in their description. The description does not imply they will immediately jump to attack the pc's so it might be helpful to know what their alignment is.

1. Yep, I assumed that the kitchen was the room that wasn't labelled on the map. I assumed a turn in the stairs such that they led down to the cellar and that way the wine cellar was below the ballroom.

2. The stairs out of the wine cellar mysteriously disappeared as there seemed to be nowhere logical to link them to on the ground floor.

3. Yep, those caught me on the night we did this chapter as I didn't have time to do enough prep before this session. I assumed that both areas should have doors opening onto the coridoor.

4. Where did number 4 go?

5. Closets, wardroes, storage, whatever. Not important.

6. I assumed CN. They certainly don't immediately attack the PCs. Get used to missing alignments later in the book/series. Just play them as described and don't worry too much about alignment.

is the author on here? I was hoping to get his response to this..it pisses me off that alignment is missed so often in this book...of course my players have a paladin too..

I have read through all three books and have discovered many text to map errors. It seems to be a misscommunication with editor/cartographer. The rough draft goes to the map-maker, the book gets edited and the map maker dosen't get the revisions....
