.... hurm.... okay, it's a new ship - better than the last one since it's less obscene. However, I'm not in love with it. The surface detail seems "tacked on". I'm a big believer in surface detail, but the Drakh seemed to be the race that did well without it. Also, I must say that I'm a little surprised at the price.

I am in the process of painting my old style and maybe far down the road I would buy one, but my old style is good enough for that price. Now I will get a carrier simply because I don't have one yet.

I'd lik to know if MGP are still considering swaping people's "old" crappy motherships for the new one. It was something Matt said he would think about after the mould collapsed

i dont think id swap my current one, but IMO the new one is better, its also nice to see a company that changes their worse models into good(ish) rather than just updates them slightly so their not quite as bad(the Z'takk is a good exampe of this)

It's an interesting ship, that new mothership, but still doesn't look anything like the ship seen in the series. Won't stop me picking one up one of these days though!
