Does armor effect casting spells?

Again I am new to runequest. I thought I read somewhere that magic costs more if you are wearing armor, but I can't where I read that. Of course it could be some other game I I have played.
If there is a rule that armor effects casting spells where is it?

No, there is not. In RuneQuest your bad-ass sorcerer can easily run around in full plate if he can afford it.

I have however house ruled otherwise... But that is my preference.

Sorcerers in runequests don't need to do the macarena when they cast their spells. So they aren't annoyed by armour.
