Disengaging from combat If you are facing multiple opponents

If you are fighting against 2 or more enemies... What do you have to do to disengage from combat? Only 1 combat action? Do you have to expend as combat actions as enemies to disengage from combat?

You need to use the Disengagement rules for both/all opponents, which means multiple CAs. A lenient GM might allow you to make one disengagement against multiple foes but I think that such circumstances would need to depend on the competency of those opponents. So, if battling a pair of semi-confident, semi-competent trollkin, then perhaps just the one attempt, as those enemies will be relying on each other and act as a unit. However against competent, clever opponents, then each needs to be treated as an individual.

If you're out of CAs - then Hero Points can be used to generate a 'last ditched attempt' CA for tight spots such as this.

Being outnumbered or surrounded in combat is a real hazard to health!

You could possibly manage it fairly cheaply, with 1 CA spent first on the Maneouvre action, leaving only one opponent able to attack you; and on your next action, you Disengage from that opponent. However, this would still require quite a generous interpretation of the rules from your GM. 2 CAs to flee from several opponents is still pretty cheap, if they're set on trapping you.
