The dice explanations under the Careers heading on page 16 would have been better placed on page 14 where the dice terms are first used.

The closer all the die conventions are mentioned at the beginning of the book, the better.
I came here to post the same suggestion.
There is a quick explanation on page 5 under the Game Conventions section (which is good), but this is the first detailed description that we get--which makes sense as character creation is the first place where it's used extensively.
However, like Venomous suggested, these details might be better placed earlier--perhaps after the characteristics section? The main issue is that pages 14 and 15 use the EDU 7+ or INT 7+ convention extensively and these pages come before page 16, where the detailed explanation of the convention is now.
