Nice, thanks. I ended up buying some from noblenight. I don;t care for the weird d3s shaped like a log. I like d2 and d3 shaped like d6s.

The link I included was for d6-shaped d3's. Nothing weirdly log-like.

Yeah, that's why I said "nice". Those are exactly what I want. I was merely stating that 'real' d3s are an abomination.

Sorry, I misunderstood. BTW, did you find d6-shaped d2s at noble knight?

Speaking of abominable dice, here's a thought experiment about how a wider selection of dice might work for skills over 100%.

Two people enter combat, person A has a close-combat skill of 80%, person B has 112% in close-combat. Instead of doing the math reducing both skills by 12% (or however it works, I can't remember off hand), why not have both people roll d120 (d12 + d10)?

Here's where the abominations come in, certain die manufacturers also make d14s, d16s, etc. So, years later, person A has made a few improvement rolls and now has C-C skill of 130% vs person B's 112%. Now they could both roll d140 (d14 + d10).

I don't know much about probabilities or what not, but would this work?

No. But I got some blank d6's with stickers so I'll make my own. I should be receiving them in a few days.

No, because the D12 has no zero. D100s work because the dice are numbered 0-9 (and even then you have to "pretend" that 00 equals 100.

If you treat the "12" = "0", it would be fine. So if I roll 12 and 6, my score is 06, if I roll 11 and 9, the result is 119
