I understood that Divine Fervour is essentially Pact (God), and also that Pact (xxx) could be automatically created by dedicating POW to the xxx (God or Cult). And RQII seems to allow the Pact skill to be gained after character generation.
I rolled up a Deus Vult character on the fly when I joined a new group i.e. not knowing the RQII rules. I didn't ask for nor gain Divine Fervour at that point and haven't been able to gain it since.
My question is, from a rules perspective, is it possible for me to gain Divine Fervour in game (i.e. after character generation)?
If yes, what is necessary?
{My thoughts: it isn't a basic skill is therefore advanced. It's not on the "must have a teacher" list and so should be gainable. Ok, it might take a month and some DPs but that's ok.}
**This is really bugging me.**
