Deluxe RQ is available again

Was anyone here who received a copy getting one as a replacement for their broken hardcover? Just curious because I am on the list for a replacement but haven't heard anything, so had no idea what the status of it is (but my hardcover is now a sheaf-folder cover, heh!).

Same here. Looks like they're on the way to us, anyway. I'm in NC, myself. However, MRQ doesn't seem to exist here (I'm the only person I know of among the gamers in this area, not that I know everyone, who runs a game - I'd love to be demoing it!), so I don't have anything to gage it by. Matt says they're on the way though, so I'm watching the doorstep!

I ordered it from Nobleknight.com (in the US) and it exists very well. I even received Monsters II ordered on the 1st of May.

Yeah, I didn't mean that quite so literally. Nobody in my area seems to know that it exists. I'm the only person at the meetups that runs/plays it (other than my own players, mind you) and I get asked about it in comparison to D&D. Thus, I don't find it on the shelves. I can get it online, yes. I think if it were demoed in places where there's potential demand (especially with many mixed feelings about D&D 4th), stores might stock it. Who knows.

It may be fairly popular but I have the same issue, no one around here seems to have heard of it either. And of course the local game store doesn't carry it. Heck they don't carry much of anything RPG related anymore.

One of my players moved down to Charlotte NC a few years ago and when he got there he made the comment "I just moved to d20 land. If you don't play d20 you get looked at like a freak of nature." It was really strange, but apparently he has successfully introduced a variety of other games. Good luck converting people.

It's the same where I am in the UK.
I've struggled for quite a while now to get people to try RQ rather than d20 in many variants. And even now people are seeing it as a filler game until 4th edition comes out.

Hopefully they'll be willing to go back to it, if I can do a good enough job reffing it for them.

I know it would help if I could run from a rulebook rather than printed SRD's, but there's still no sign of RQ Deluxe. (Bitter?..me?)

RQ Deluxe is now back in stock.

Some positive news!
I've had it on back order from Leisure Games for some time. If it's in stock do you know how long it will take to filter down to the shops?

yeah, that's where I live. Everyone plays DnD or GURPS. Getting people to try other things isn't easy. Funnily enough, my players are all international - my wife's British and the other two are French. So, no luck yet converting. That said, I'm not actively trying to demo it either. Maybe when the MI setup is in place again.
