..because I feel like I am just getting started. After six months of painting in spare moments, I finally have a good bug army and MI force, including a tanker, brain, lots of flyers, couple mauraders. And an entire Skinnie army primed and sitting on my table ready to get started, along with other bugs and MI waiting their turn. I've also got Skinnie buildings designed in my head and materials collected. When I get a momment I'll post some pics of my bug corpses (I felt the battlefield should be a little littered with them). I am having some trouble finding a local opponent, but then I've just started looking.

I get the impression from your above comments that you are an SST Wargamer (i.e the tabletop miniature game) if so you likely to have much more luck posting this in the Starship Troopers thread of the Mongoose Minatures section of the forums as this section is where the Starship Troopers Roleplaying game players are typically found, which (and correct me if im wrong) seems not to be what you are looking for.

You're not alone in just getting started. I had been slowly building up figures, but I only started playing last summer. Members of my group who collect the figures number about 6 but we can get about twice that many to play in a game when we host and provide the figures. We are primarily into scenario play rather than tourneys. One guy has just started recently the Klendathu campaign. He's managing the force attrition and he'll call a game amongst the group to see resolve the battles. I'm also running 2 large games of Starship Troopers at a local convention in July. I'll be working on my terrain boards next week actually. And I'm hard at work painting alot of my figures.
