Dark Passions: When?

Since the folks at the Ctech website reported that they had sent the final file this week, is there an update on Dark Passions?

And that news it has been pushed back another month...

See, this is the problem with the up-to-the-minute reporting of the Internet.

Dark Passions was due to be printed yesterday. Due to some minor formatting issues with the main document, it is now scheduled for next Friday.

Not so long to wait, surely?

Sorry, that did sound more bitter than intended  . I was merely posting here what the news was but the glib nature came out wrong.

No worries - I promise, the guys here at Mongoose are working as hard as they can to get all your books out!

Yeah, 'Phil' the mail order guy did look tired at the tournament at the weekend.

I must admit I thought that Mongoose's upcoming release schedule for the next few months seemed to be quite ambituous considering how many books are actually being printed each month. So I did suspect further delays.

Still cheers for the response. I hope to see Dark Passions in print soon.

I suspect the book may see some small delay due to Mongoose reoutsourcing their printing operation.

If they could stop by and tell us how much of a delay I'd appreciate it.

The last confirmed news I have seen in this regard is that only color printing is being outsourced. Do you have any further news on this to say that the outsourcing is more widespread?

As of this week, we have dropped the production of books in our own facility, and have returned to our original systems - we'll be making a fuller announcement on this in a few days,

Originally, all printing was outsourced so I'm assuming all of it will be.

Hey there.

You are pretty much correct. We are just waiting to see the results of our first print run (Magic of the Young Kingdoms), and then we'll be full speed ahead with all the books you are waiting for including, of course, Dark Passions.
