d20 Conan for other S&S milieux

Did anyone use d20 Conan for other S&S campaigns? If so, did you apply some modifications?
I was thinking about a campaign set in Kull's times, and I could probably adapt the Conan races.
For example:
- Atlanteans -> Cimmerians
- Picts -> Picts
- Valusians -> Hyborians
etc.
The classes would remain unchanged.

Yes. I ran a couple of S&S games set in our world with more or less ice-age geography. The setting idea was: if Conan is set in our world 20.000 B.C.E., my game is set 20.000 CE, long after our modern civilization has failed. However I went the easy route and left all the racial names as they are, sticking to the "circular history" flavour.

The main difference was the geography and some cultural aspects. Instead of expanded pseudo-medieval kingdoms, I had city-states separated by wide stretches of wilderness.
The Hyborian nations were located around the Black Sea, and I portrayed them more like classical / early Roman era. Cimmerians were home in the Carpathian mountains. Nordheimir at the Baltic Sea coast. Everything west of that line was forested Pictish Wilderness, with the exception of some coastal colonies by Argosseans and other seafaring nations. Taurans at the natural frontier between plains and forests, hence Borderers.

Well, stuff like that. I'd use that setting any time if I should GM another S&S game. In our current Conan game I am not GMing and we use the standard Conan map.

Using Conan RPG in Judge's Guild Wilderlands setting.

I made some house rules, but for the most part just converted the existing cultures using Conan-like races. NPCs are pretty easy to convert.

Nice. What about monsters and magic items? The Wilderlands assumed the standard D&D-type monsters and magic distributions.

Chaosiums supplement for H.P.L's Dreamlands to use with the CoC d20 for stats for monster and magic? Could be a nice crossover.

I was considering the exact thing...thus my thread on what I would love to see one in the future by Mongoose Publishing.

But even without that I'm considering to do my own version of it based on Howrad's Kull novel (and maybe the Marvel comics too) using either Carter's or Marvel's map of Thurian Age.

For race I'm planning ot Adapt the Pict and the Lemurian template from the conan game to represent an Older more "civilized" version, but all the other race Atlantean, Thurian, Mu, etc. will be new template.

The reason being that Howard did describe that most of the race reverted to a Savage/stone age way of life after the Cataclysm.

It would also be interesting to see Lankhmar and Stormbringer.
For example, Lankhmar has White Magic and Black Magic. That could be modeled by using Scholars and classifying the sorcery styles according to their effects.
In Stormbringer, sorcery would mainly consist in Summoning and Necromancy.

I'd love to see this

Here's a better link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084749/

That look like one of those Cheesy '80s movie which oclud easily be adapted for a Conan scenario...a bit like Beastmaster.

Hilariously cheesy. Some of the best fake beards and wigs ever seen in a serious movie.

It blew my mind as a kid along with the likes of Krull and The Beastmaster, I should never have ruined the memory by watching it as an adult.

Whenever I read through the Conan sorcery section I'm always reminded of Elric!
