Could it end his career and is it unitentional treason?

A Character foolishly drunkenly claimed that she wanted but would never arrange for Rao to die before both her brother and her father, all so that Harrick becomes heir to The Drinax throne and later King of Drinax and also all so that she as Harrick's Wife would definitely rather then possibly be crown princess of Drinax by marriage and later Queen of Drinax by marriage. Could this end her career and is it unintentional treason?

Depends on Drinax's definition of treason and - more importantly - who heard it.

Threatening a royal heir - and, for the more paranoid types - "I obviously wouldn't do it but it'd be really convenient if you died.." basically boils down to a threat is probably something that can be seen as treason.

Certainly - Drinax being what it is - custom and social opinion is far more relevant than whatever surviving Sindallian legal codes could be said to apply, because unlike in the Imperium, the exists-in-principle-but-is-impractical-in-reality (because even getting there would take months) "I appeal to the Emperor's judgment" means "let's go next door into the throne room and see if Oleb's hangover has gone away yet."

Depends if she was wearing semi-sheer leggings or not. Everybody knows that semi-sheer leggings went out 3.4564 seasons ago on Drinax and NOBODY who expects their words to be taken seriously would EVER be caught wearing semi-sheer leggings! While it's not treasonous, it certainly IS a fashion faux-pas of MONUMENTAL proportions. Thus if she hasn't chucked herself out an airlock by now the notorious Drinax gossip columnist Prick "don't you EVER say my first name, or I'll spoon ya!" Hillyton will have paid the semi-notorious RuPal fashion assassin, and his crew, the Drag Race Bois, to whack that character with the meaniest, nastiest eyelash curler this side of Sylea!

OR

The king may just nuke the offender to make an example out of them. Either way their life is pretty much over. Time to roll up some new ones.

Using US definitions of Treason - there can be no such thing as "Unintentional" Treason - treason can only be committed during a declared war, by knowingly and actively aiding the enemy.

Find another crime to charge them with - Attempted Murder - Threatening the Life of the Grand Poobah, whatever, but not Treason.

True, but that, as noted, depends on a given state's definition (in this case, Drinax's).

During absolute monarchies through history, a fair number of out-of-favour or politically inconvenient people have been put to death on charges of relatively ill-specified treason.
