Corumai Mini

Does anyone know the dimensions of the Corumai mini? Especially the hight, as that most affects my storage methods.

Exact dimensions I cannot give you but I can tell you that I had to turn it sideways at an angle to fit it into a 4" Sabol (Army Transport) foam tray.

this might help you get an idea of size :D

hang on, if I can find a measure/ruler i'll check... bugger my measures are all in the car, and I'm full of lurgy and refuse to go out in this wind! ah ha, IK templates...
ok 4 inches wide, 4 inces high and about 4 and a half inches long. This is not based, the base gives it a wee height boost

@ Darknight:
The Corumai held up with such a small base slot? Impressive... and quite a unique paint job too. But it's those Gaim ships in the background that really caught my eye... Very nice touch of gold.

Oh yeah, he painted it blue. You've got better eyes than me...

Kill the Gaim, take their ships!!!

Alright, I can deal with 4 inches, as long as I'm careful basing it. Thanks for the help!
@Darknight- Realy nice paint jobs on all visible ships. I wish my hand was that steady.

thanks for the comments guys, the connectors are my own desighn (sort of) uses barrel connectors, yea i hate the gaim, bought em cause they look cool, but sold them as i cant deal with that many fighters, just a pain!

And how do you do the gradual transfer of color from purple to bright blue? Very cool.
Is it supposed to be a Corumai loaned to the Abbai?

yea, i done all the naw, fleet to look the same (appart from the vree)
its done with an airbrush, the avioki looks well cool in the colours, i do it with a brush as well for a similar effect, use medium glaze in your paint 2-1, and 1-1 of thinners, (valejio paint)

Although I use the airbrush, I never could do anything that smoothly... Need more practice I guess. Looking forward to your LoNAW fleet pics :)

You can probably approximate this with washes of inks, blended carefully over several applications...

theres a dark blue in the middle, that helps graduate the colours, plus use lots of glaze medium in your mix,(carefull as it a flow agent and will also retard drying)
