Corum:
There is already a CORUM sourcebook for the STORMBRINGER RPG.
And i really doubt if other authors could do it better than that.
There is not so much information on the world(s) of Corum.
Erekose:
There is an article in "Ye Booke of Tentacles Vol. IV" by Shannon Applecline, which explores the original incarnation of the Eternal Champion for STORMBRINGER RPG.
That EC also has not soooo much background either.

Darcsyde's Corum book is quite good but I do think that someone could do better. Moorcock apparently envisioned Corum's world as based on Cornwall. Some of the names reflect that: Lywm-an-Esh (Lyonesse, the mythical sunken kingdom off the coast of Cornwall). I think something closer to the feel of the books could be achieved.

The three Corum books are some of the greatest sword & sorcery/fantasy stories I have ever read. They hold a special place in my memory from when I was a wee lad. Epic adventure on par with Conan and Elric, IMO. If you haven't read them, I would try and pick them up. I would buy a Mongoose Corum supplement in a flash. 8)

I have to agree about these seeing print as a gaming source. I'd love to see them.
I would also buy "Corum" (even when i have the other one), and i would buy a "Erekose" book too (even if i can´t think on enaugh background to fil a whole book (except the RPG author makes it up all by himself).
What i DON`T want to see is a "Van Bek" book. I don´t see him/them as a real Eternal Champion.
I like the shared universe/multiverse background for Elric, Hawkmoon, Corum and Erekose, but in MY Eternal Champion games is no space for Van Bek.
By the way: A Jerry Cornelius book would be interesting. It wouldn´t see good, and is kind of retro, but it would be an obscurity.
A nice idea would be to publish a book about another Eternal Champion... a NEW one... made up by Mongoose authors... to join the existing MM ones!

I would like to see a sourcebook covering the Second Aethyr Trilogy (Blood, Fabulous Harbours, The War Amongt the Angels) as well as the latest three Elric Books (The Dreamthief's Daughter, The Skrayling Tree, and White Wolf's Son), as well as the tie in graphic novels The Multiverse of Michael Moorcock (which ties in with the former trilogy) and Making of a Sorceror (which ties in with the later). They bring a lot of themes of the Multiverse together.
For one, the connection between Elric and the Von Bek lineage is established. You get to meet notable personae such as Rose von Bek, Ulric von Bek, The enigmatic Monsieur Zenith (I won't give spoilers), the erstwhile unholy duo of Paul "Gaynor the Damned"l von Minct and Klosterheim, Pearl Peru and the Chaos Engineers versus the Singularity (as well as the aspects of Law and Chaos as the Original Insect versus the Great Mood), Jack Karaquazian and the Jugadors, as well as some friends from other series such as Una Persson and Oswald Bastable of the League of Temporal Adventurers, as well as Reynard der Fuchs who also appeared in the Von Bek Trilogy.
I know that seems like a lot (for only 6 books and two graphic novels) but it put the scope of the Eternal Champion cycle into perspective as well really shows the spirit of it. As well, I like the fact that during this latest Cycle, Rose von Bek is shown to be as important a Protagonist as Elric, and proves time and again that she is the thorn on the family tree. Though I suppose covering this material would give the RQ engine a run for its money.

The EC line from Mongoose has to establish itself, and the triumvirate of Elric/Hawkmoon/Corum is the best way to do it. They're the most accessible of all the EC novels, enjoy considerable cross-over, and so need coverage. We're not ignoring the other the other EC incarnatioons but please, give us time! The agreement with Michael Moorcock was only finalised in April/May; just how fast do you think we can work?

The reason for this is the structure of the original novels and reflecting the themes. In Mike's later writing, the themes, rather than the heroes, have become more important and central. So, it might be better to take that approach.
As to creating NEW eternal champions - no. Not with their own sourcebooks. This is a great idea for scenarios and S&P articles, but there's a lot of existing EC variations already without having to build new ones from the ground up.
So, as things stand, now we have Elric and Hawkmoon out, we have to work to suppport them with some additional books. We've got works on Magic, the Elric Companion, Castle Brass and weird Tragic Millenium science in the works already. If we don't support these main books, we'll get a slating. Once the support's up and running, then we can look at new ECs to develop.
But bear in mind that there's a finite writing resource... we work flat-out to produce these books, and because the EC saga is so dense and complex, it requires a LOT of reading, cross-referencing and head-scratching before pen gets put to paper. It will take some time if we're to do it properly...
