Core Rulebook to Capital Ship Hull size gap updated

Hello all,

Being rather slow on somethings I just figured out that there is
an information gap from the Core Rulebook 2,000 dton to the HG
Capital Ship 3,000 dton hull regarding Performance by Hull Volume (PHV).

Has an errata table been posted somewhere?

I've extended the Core Rulebook PHV table, p. 108, following the
apparent progression shown on the HG p. 43 Extended PHV table.

I give up on trying to put the table here , if anyone would like a look
contact me using the PM. Of course once I figure out how to do a table
I will add into the post.

I figured out how to get something that looks like a table has been added

Evening everyone,

I was suffering from not enough sleep on this post. I was looking for
something else in HG when I found the reference that a capital ship
starts at 2,001 dtons.

I hope I gave everyone something to chuckle at :lol: .

Missed this post before...

Easy to see how were you mislead - the tables should be clearer.

In fact, if you look at HG p. 65 - the Computer Table lacks a row for less than 3,000 tons. And is quite inconsistent (3,000-, then 5,001) - actually this table looks pretty broken to me at first glance...

But I haven't really gone through a Capital ship design yet - so I'd probably need several reads to interpret things correctly.

Hello again BP,

Hopefully the post gave you a chuckle as well as the chance to glance
over the design sequence.

When I am more awake I normally read the text and look at tables,
which didn't happen this time. I just looked at the table without working
through the design sequence.

I thint that the easiest fix is to change the 3,000 to 2,001 on Hull and
Computer tables.
