Just a question for the administrators - what are your rules concerning copyrights of material posted on these boards? I've heard that some companies - mainly WotC - have a policy that stuff posted on their board becomes their. So if you post a really good feat or something on their board, they can yoink it and publish it. I might be stupid or blind, but I didn't find any mention concerning this.

At this time, we have no such policy (and, indeed, our various licenced games allow us to circumvent a lot of the need for it).

SJG used to for certain forums (specifically playtest and Q&A forums), and I suspect still does.
Green Ronin, Black Industries, Quicklink Interactive (T20), and several otehrs also have such terms for their playtest forums.

unless you playtest you dont have access to the sort of things that cause copyright issues if anyone wanted to use my slaine stuff for example I only share the stuff I am happy everyone using like the insults etc

Yeah, I don't really think that any of my stuff would interest Mongoose enough to snatch it. I don't flatter myself that much. That being said, I just wanted to be sure, as some companies have such clauses in effect. If Mongoose would have had one, I would have started to limit what I write on these boards, just out of principle, such as cutting off my campaign report. I really don't like the way some companies treat copyrights - I guess it is all part of the new IP wars with DRM, crackdown on torrent trackers and so forth.
