ConQuest VEGAS B5:ACTA Tournament "4th Annual"

Howdy everyone,

Do you live in the Southwest US? Do you like Babylon 5: A Call to Arms? Then we have an event for you to attend. Even if you do not live in the Southwest, or even the US, come on in for this.

In conjunction with Avalon Conventions, who produce the west coast convention "ConQuest" Las Vegas offers a new convention. Well more an upgrade to one of our locla ones :>

In the past we have offered annual Friday night Tournaments:

2005 - 17 players
2006 (Spring) - 24 players
2006 (Fall) - 14 players
2007 - 18 players

So we can offer you a local playerbase, which garuntees some diverse action. Who would not want to be a part of that? This is the largest annual Tournament in the Southwest US, if not the US overall.

Friday night does not really work for people from out of town. Now we can offer something that does on a Saturday late afternoon and evening.

We can also offer you a show in conjuction with the GAMA Trade Show... and featuring one of the nicest people in the hobby - Alex Fennell of Mongoose Publishing.

If that is not enough, did I mention this has always been an official Mongoose Tournament, and has been consistantly blessed with product from Mongoose Publishing?

So give it some thought and keep up with www.conquestvegas.com and the associated yahoo group. There will also be some stuff on the Babylon_5_Miniatures yahoo group - and this forum!!!

Be seeing you~

Also the most important thing I can add here...

Yes this is still going to happen!!!

So please come on down and show your support to this genre and game.

Humbaba, are you going to this event? I've thought about it but I have family coming out this summer and need to save vacation days...

Still on. The event will be on Saturday at 5 pm start so I would say get there a little earlier to get registered and checked in.

I am afraid that I am out - I was tempted as I have bussiness at GAMA during the week, but I did not see as much buzz around the event as I expected and I lost a full week to the flu, so I am afraid that I will miss it this year. Maybe next year?
