Confused about scout rule

So, if a scout targets an enemy ship with its scanners, then the rules state that "any ship" may re-roll misses in the shooting phase for one weapon system Does that mean all ships can target it with one weapon system each or just one ship with one weapon system?

Hmm. We are in the cusp of the "new rules". Does anyone know if there has been a change in the scouting rules?

Fighters have to scan and target enemies too. No reason why they should not benefit from Scout.

Yea, a new benefit of fighters being ships. Look at those bombers deep fat fry Armageddon level ships now.
