Conan RPG Signs & Portents Index

Thanks to all who've helped put this index together (and those who wrote the original articles). That's a lot of good freebies! 8)

Something that would also be useful is a level and geographical index of official Conan adventures--something that a GM could glance at and see where an adventure was set plus the expected character level.

Just a suggestion.

This index is just for Conan RPG Signs & Portents material. You may want to submit such an article or request to Mongoose Charlie on the S&P Forum:

No new Conan content in the August 2009 free issue of Signs & Portents - although there is a fully stated Conan character for the Paranoia rpg and a new Pop culture grading scale - called Conan's Score of Steel -that will be using Conan swords as a visual for good or bad scores.

Also, the new S&P magazine looks great! I really like the format and the way the fonts and colors pop. Great job Charlie!

No big surprise - no new Conan RPG content in the September issue of Signs & Portents #72. It does feature a really cool cover by Conan cover artist extraordinaire Chris Quilliams and a couple of adventures for Lone Wolf & Elric that may be converted. Still love the format - great job Charlie (take it easy on the stairs!) :D

Bitter Oranges makes an even dozen adventures free in Signs of Portents.

The Player Characters are hired by a local lordling from Zingara in order to kidnap the young daughter of a wealthy Argossean merchant across the border; they must do this before the girl´s fiancée arrives at the villa to marry her. The Player Characters must deliver the maiden safe and sound to their patron. If successful in kidnapping the girl, the Players still face the problem of reaching their employer before they are stopped by the Argosseans who will be hot on their heels in pursuit.

Thanks. I really enjoy the list you made, so it'd be disapointing to learn that it's no longer supported.

Thank you very much Jacek - you made my day. All the best to ya.

I'll stay on top of it - who knows - we may reach 500 pages of free Conan RPG material in S&P. Impressive support!

    81--------------------The Dagger - Every Thief's Best Ally---------3 pages

Total Rules Pages=132

I have a suggestion: This material listed here would be better categorized if it where arranged in sections that correspond to the chapters in the 2E rule book.

Races
Classes
Skills & Feats
Equipment
Sorcery
Gazetter
Religion
Bestiary
Campaigns
Adventures

Thus, the Of Chariots and Archeronians article would go in the Races section. What's in a Name would also go there as would the Sons of Ashan article.

Roleplaying in the Hyborian Age would go in the Campaigns section. Piercing Magic would go in the Sorcery section, of course.

The Bloodling would go in the Bestiary section.

You get the idea.

I think, organized this way, it makes scanning the list a less time consuming process, enabling us players a quick-n-easy way to locate a specific type of article.

I'm happy with the original S&P Index as I created it, especially as the end nears. The search is hard from difficult and organized by issue which is what I intended.
