Conan RPG Indices

I'm going to try to get a complete, detailed, updated version of the CORE RULES (paperback) up online before the day is over (local time).
Then I will compile all the separate indices together to form the first edition of the MASTER INDEX.
I still do not have all of the books yet, so other interested parties may add to it and contribute. I doubt I will ever buy Shadizar, Messantia, Black Kingdoms and a few other things.

*WHEW!!!*

It took a while, but the completed, expanded, detailed index for the CORE RULES (paperback) is NOW UP!
I added several hundred new lines of text, logging in inserts, sub-headings, and tables that were not part of the earlier version of this index.
Hopefully this "final" version will be of greater utility to Conan RPGers.

I am going to dial out for a few days to rest the poor digits!

Enjoy!

As a holiday treat, I will be editing the MASTER INDEX to weed out redundant entries and otherwise cleaning it up a bit. (For the link, see posts above.)

Then in a few weeks I will add Thunder River and Fallen to the Master Index, but probably not make separate indices for each since that would entail more work.

Anyone who would like to add something to the Master may do so, or offer suggestions.

Happy Holidays,

Yogah of Yag

A new and improved, edited Version 2 of the Master Index is now up and available. This version has been condensed with much fewer redundant entries.

Enjoy.

I just got Thunder River and Fallen in the post a few days ago (it took FRP Games a while to get it to me). They look terrific! Great job! I will be taking the next week or two to add in their entries and tighten up the editing a little more. 8)

The latest and (I hope) last version of the MASTER INDEX is now up!
It features entries from Thunder River and Hyboria's Fallen, plus a couple of entries from select S&P articles.

It took several weeks and a lot of callouses on the pads of my digits, but it's done, more or less. 8)

Now that the Master is online, I will delete the individual indices. So, if you still want them, get them in the next couple of days, before they're gone.
This will be the last time I alter the file before the Stygia sourcebook comes out in the next year or two. Come on, Vincent! You can do it! :D

Since no one was willing to add in the numbers for the AE, I broke down last week and bought a copy. I will add them in myself over the next two weeks alongside the numbers from the paperback edition.

On a somewhat related note: I have been preparing a comprehensive concordance of Howard's Conan stories using corpus-linguistic software, with special attention to the occurences of nomina propria, and warfare/combat terminologies. I hope to have this finished by the end of 2006.

After having owned the Pocket Edition Rules for over a year, I finally got the Atlantean Edition, and all I can say is WOW! A big improvement over the little paperback. I will start to work adding the page numbers of the AE to the Master Index. I hope to be done by the end of the week, and it'll be posted, of course, on my Conan RPG website for everyone's benefit.

...told ya so...

Sorry I dropped off the face of the Earth, but I got a new job that's torn RPGing as a whole right outa my life for the time being. I'm glad you've kept up with all the indecies, though. I plan to make good use of them once I get back into playing Conan.

Welcome back, Sutek (or Kotter...)
Yeah, we were wondering what happen to ya.
It stinks that many of us have real jobs that take away from what is truly important in this life, i.e. RPG! If only we would work for a cool company and develop RPGs full-time...

*Ahem!* HINT, HINT Mongoose!

In five to ten minutes I will have up the finally complete MASTER INDEX now with AE page numbers.

For the benefit of other forum members as well as curious visitors, it would be courteous to cite page numbers and sources when referencing Conan RPG rules.

Enjoy.
