[CONAN] Hirelings costs

Hey ya!

I´was reading the costs of hire mercenaries, sages, whatsoever, and the table given in Tito´s Trading Post appears too "cheap" for me. Understand me, it´s logical in the case of purchase 100 soldiers lvl1 during 2 months, but not for hire an assasin for only one action...

I´m thinking that in the assasin matter (or thief or...) it costs 100 pp per level.What do you think?

I keep money very scarce in my game. I don't "do" D&D type adventures where the characters go into a hole in the ground and come out millionaires.

Heck, we even do a lot of bartering in my game.

Therefore, those prices are "fine" in my game.

You might want to have a look at AD&D1e DMG. If you don't have the book, have a look at OSRIC or Advanced Edition Companion; they are retro-clones and include lots of stuff on campaign elements like the price of hirelings and specialists.
