Yes, I know you had the site on your links B. I'll try again:
The site has been changed to the "Official Robert E. Howard Forum". It use to be essentially just a Conan site with one thread for REH.
Now the site has forums for Kull, Soloman Kane, and Bran Mak Morn. Also there is a Forum for Howard's Other Literary Creations and a Review Forum titled "The Library of Epemitieus" for reviews of all things Conan.
Bottom line - it's a more complete forum and should be easier to navigate.
Link was there for simplicity sake. Really we should move your links to the site.
Nothin' to worry about. Some jerk spam-posted hundreds of links to pornographic web sites and I asked the ol' Goose to remove the post. So the reference urdinaran made is moot at this point.
I had Conan.com set as my homepage for the longest time here at work, even had my Captain reading the Aquilonia sourcebook and he liked it just for the cool info.
Especially the army stuff, cause he is a Marine. He may even play a few games (if his wife lets him).
Former Marine myself - need to get down to the new Marine Corps Museum that was just built in Virginia! Semper Fi!
On the REH Forums (Conan.com) we have started a Story of the Month feature. Each month we feature a story by Robert E. Howard's non-Conan material plus a REH Conan tale. This month's Story of the Month for REH is Worms of the Earth starring Bran Mak Morn and the Conan Story of the Month is The Tower of the Elephant. We rate and discuss each story - I invite everyone from this board to stop over and participate. Here's the links:
Robert E. Howard Story of the Month (Bran Mak Morn):
Former Army Ranger
A Co. 3rd Batt. 75th Ranger Regiment (Airborne)
The platoon all knew the Conan creed:
"To crush your enemy beneath your feet, hear the lamentation of their women...'
We all brought the video on deployments.
Arnold was our man-crush.
