Hello
with GLORANTHA, LANKHMAR, HAWKMOON, ELRIC, and more RQ is on a good way to get as big as never before.
In my humble opinion RQ is a great system for heroic fantasy.
A CONAN sourcebook for RQ would be great. It does not need to succeed D20 conan, a 3 book RQ line would be good enaugh.
When we are speaking of Robert E. Howard... what about a book (or a three book line) for each:
- SOLOMON KANE
- BRAN MAK MORN
- KULL, or
- RED SONJA.
Hace a look on www.imdb.com and search for "Robert E. Howard". There are movies under the way for ALL of them!
Karl Edward Wagners KANE and Richard Kirks RAVEN would also be good.
Other ideas are John Normans GOR (concetrationg on the culture and
adventure, not detailing the sex parts), Poul Andersons THE BROKEN SWORD (Lord of the Rings as it should be), or Kirk Mitchels LIBERATOR/PROCURATOR/IMPERATOR (Roman Empire vs. Aztecs).
All of these are classics which shouln´t make it so hard to get a RPG
license for them.
Cheers
