Conan book on Ancient Kingdoms (Acheron, Valusia, etc.)

Since the Conan world is littered with ancient ruins of lost/fallen civilizations and the such, I think it would be nice to have a book that sheds some light on those kingdoms (Acheron, Valusia, Atlantis, Old Stygia, other Thulian nations, etc.). Also, this book can give insight into current cultures/nations with a long/shrouded in time history (Stygia, Zamora, Vendhya, Khitai, etc.).

What got me started on this was the Ruins of Hyboria book. It stated that Acheronian ruins used purple stone. Why? This got me thinking into other aspects of Acheron- how closely did it mirror ancient Stygia in terms of religion, architecture, society, etc.?

A book on these topics would go a long way to giving GMs info on the past to help create the world of today.

I would love this a book like this, It is what I've wanted for years.

I've heard some people say it wouldn't be popular enough but i think almost anyone who enjoys Conan would Enjoy this book, if done correctly.

Actually, I think the book would look like a lot like a Ruins of Hyboria Volume 2. It seems we already have a Catacombs of Hyboria coming soon. I bet it will be far from the traditionnal "Tunnels & Caverns" D&D style supplement and I doubt Mongoose would publish another "Ruins like" supplement so soon after this one, although I'd love to see an "Ancient Civilizations" book.

Anything that adds to the color and flavor of the past/ancient histories that are the game campaign and build on it would be a great add and everyone would have to buy that book as well too.

Not just that but it would really give the GM some ideas, history, insight, clues into how to set up "believable" or "possibly historically correct" ruins, treasures, adventure ideas, etc.

For instance, we know that Acheronians only used gold coins and all their major buildings were purple colored. We know that Valusian coins survived into the Hyborian age. Those are bits and pieces that can help the GM but more is better (in regards to knowledge and inspiration).
