Yes, and I could have used either source. The irony is that I was accused of plagarising (intentionally or unintentionally) from a Bastian Press book (and a claim made that it carefully listed all of its sources), yet it seems that the source I was accused of ripping off may have actually plagarised from my properly credited source.

He was looking for plagarism and he may have found it, just not from Mongoose.

So I don't see what the problem is about. If you nicely indicated where the things come from whats the problem there?

I've been told of a bit of a furor on the RPGnow little people website with authors using huge chunks of people's OGL work. If its OGL I don't really see the problem as long as the text used is used in a worthwhile way and not rehashing someones work. If those that do use OGL work, the least they can do is mention where the source came from.

Authors who make OGL books shouldn't really complain, as long as their work is used in accordance to the rules, whats the big deal.

Though critics about the contents are acceptable when justified (I remember the harsh words from Mad Dog about the whip and the nymph), to accuse falsely someone of plagiarism (among other things) is calumny.

vincent we think you and the other conan authors are great but you are right the insults belong on the insult thread in the slaine forum not here and not directed at anyone living :evil:
