Just to let you all know, in a few short days, Special Supplement 3: Vehicle Upgrade Manual will be available on Drivethru.

Designed as an add on for the Vehicle Handbook (and written by that book's original author, Colin Dunn), it has oodles more options for vehicle design;

* New Chassis Types, including Ekranoplans, Rocket Planes, and Ornithopters.
* New Universal Modifications, such as Dynamic Flight Controls, Fluid Cockpits and Mine-sweeping Equipment.
* Quirks and Flaws, allowing you to create vehicles that do not always work as the designers intended.
* Maintenance rules, as vehicles need repairs as much as spacecraft.
* Ultra-heavy Vehicles, for those of you who have been wanting to create massive flying aircraft carriers, lumbering factory ships, and city crushing crawlers!
* New weaponry, more guns than you can shake a dead Aslan at, from mass drivers to naval guns!
* How to use vehicles as drones and robots.
* Eight new vehicles, from a super fast sports car to a ballistic submarine...

Just about to go into layout, will be ready for release in just a few days.

Via Drivethru, yes.
Not a fan of that method. but hey.
LBH

I was wondering about their print on demand - are they purely US based (and so a long delivery time/customs issues to deal with) or do they have an EU base as well giving a nicer sertup for us in the UK...

DTRPG's partner is Lightning Source, which also prints in the UK.

Likewise. I would love rules for flying fortresses along the lines of Skybase / Cloudbase / the Valiant from RTD's incarnation of Doctor Who, and the mobile flying bases of Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow not included in the latter.

Well, there is mention of pirate-king of Ambula and an anti-grav command ship, though nothing else just a brief mention. But of course nothing is stopping you from making your own. Some sample vehicles are included, though no flying fortresses (unless something snuck in later).
