Colour difference in Wave cards

I noticed whilst making copies to be laminated that the colour of the background camo patter was different on the Wave 1 and Wave 2 EFTF cards I have.

Greener on Wave 1 and Browner on Wave 2.

Anyone else notice that? Is it an intentional wave differentiation scheme by Mongoose?
