Classic Conan

So far, Conan and the Tower of the Elephant seems to be no. 1 in a series of 1. There's nothing else in the Classic Conan series of adventures and nothing rumoured to be on the way.

What other Conan stories would be suitable for a Classic Conan treatment?

Of the top of my head:

1. Xuthal at Dusk

2. Iron Shadows in the Moonlight

3. God in the Bowl (already done in S&P/Compendium)

4. Red Nails

5. Servants of Bin-Yakim (Jewels of Gwalhir [sp])

I have to say that the Jewels of Gwalhur was my favorite story. The double intrigue, the ferocious 'grey apes', and the lost city in the jungle always got me going.

AWitch Shall/ Will Be Born was another again the giant demon, evil and hot and totally debauched twin sister (does she have a MySpace page?), the scheming Kozaki, and the psudo near-east feel of Khauran makes it seem just perfect. My only complaint about the story is that Thaug got killed by normal arrows, I thought that was anti-climatic.

I also love the Drums of Tombalku, with our nemeisis Ollam Onga, treacherous black folk, mysterious and decadent lost societies in the desert, etc.

OK, just my two cents.

Most Conan short stories would be great to adapt in a scenario but I think that making an adventure (campaign) out of the hour of the dragon would be wonderful.
