the shipss rock... Ade was there a Rail Hyperion in the works? ... dont matter just got an email
There was, but the model was never completed.

Well, you could always buy the standard Hype and add some railguns yourself.

How do you plan to paint them? I could never got the blue lines neat and straight. It may be in the painting guide, but since we may never get to see it...

And EAS Adrian Walters?

 Don't do that!!! Please!!!

Well I designed a Rail Hyperion... If it will ever exist? Well that's none of my concern now LOL.

The painting guide didn't explain how to paint straight lines. So here goes:
How to paint straight lines:
Get a brush, dip it in the paint you wish to use; not too much not too little.
Now using the brush, paint a straight line.

How on Earth else would you do it? :)
You should try painting some tartan one day ;)...

Well, it's up to Derina now isn't it? It's her ship:wink:

Don't you do stuffs like masking? For the of fine fine lines you'll need a very steady hand. They tend to end up rather crooked in my previous attempts. I honestly find it very hard.

I dunno I always think if you can do it with a pencil, then it's actually easier with a brush. If you can't with a pencil well I guess you'll just have to practice :).
Never used a mask, no need, except when doing spray effect camo patterns on vehicles.

A brush is a tool, learn how to use it effectively and it works for you. There is a type of brush called a 'Rigger' traditionally used by watercolour artists when painting, funnily enough, ships rigging... See how that is used to paint a straight line and copy it :).

Guess I'll give it another shot when my Hyperions arrive. Fear not, they'll not be named after you

Thanks for your input.
