One more defence of the Harliquin miniatures. I love some of these miniatures and I hate some of the others. That said, I search for each and every one. I may not like every figure from the Babylon 5 series, but I want them all. Heck, considering how bad some gamers paint their mini's, why complain about the sculpting. If Mongoose puts characters out I will get them in a second.

I just checked my stash and it turns out that ShadowScout listed all the ones that I have, and one that I don't have. I completely missed the last box. That's no big deal. It just had the G"KAR IN HIS UNIFORM, and the DELENN AS A MINBARI and the REAL KOSH.

I don't even know what a tall buyer is. Probably something really cool. I'm going to sulk now.

Oh, yeah, that was the one with the "promo minis". All those mentioned above were the miniatures made first, but not sold (and G'Kar & Delenn look a bit strange, since their sculptors learned a lot for the later minis... Kosh though look cool! Really cool! Strangely aloof, but cool!). But when they had to shut the line down, they made one special box with them, available only from mail order, as a going away present.

I don't even know what a tall buyer is. Probably something really cool.

...tall buyer... remember the episode "Soul Mates" with Londo and his three wives? With the empath Mat Stoner bringing some stuff on board, among them the trapped statuette? Now think about the guy who bought it from him and sold it to Mariel... tall, pale guy, well known from other TV shows... yeah, that's the man, and the mini.

I'm going to sulk now.

...or you could go and pray that the guys at mongoose manage to revive that mini line too. Who knows - they might actually succeed. And then they could build from it, and make lots of new minis...
I'm going to dream about that now. :wink:

It's a new day and I'm done sulking. Besides, the discussion about the B5 skirmish game has me all excited. The possibilities for this kind of game are endless. I really hope that this one comes true.
