Character generation - feats

Hi,

Is there a table that lists the number of feats a character can have?

I'm generating a 3rd level Human Ranger - how many feats will he have to choose from?

All characters get one feat at first level and then another every three levels from then on, eg at levels 3, 6, 9, 12 and so on. As a human you also get an extra feat at first level and some classes give you a choice of feats that you can pick.

So your third level human ranger will get two feats for their level, one for being human and one from the Between the Darkness and the Light class feature, which is a list of feats you can choose from.

Just to confirm that I'm reading this correctly, could people reply with other examples of (Race / Class = feat for this, feat for that etc) ?

It will help confirm in my mind that I know what I'm talking about

Hi,

According to the core rules, p328, a "Commercial Telepath" e.g 2nd level human telepath has 5 feats. I can only account for 3 feats, e.g:-

p253 + 1 feat for 1st lvl
p29 +1 feat at 1st lvl due to racial traits
p29 +1 automatic language feat Fluency(Human)

Any ideas?

A first level teep gains a Telepathy feat. The Telepath class also gives the weapon proficiency.

Another example: the security officer, same page.

3rd level human soldier:
1st level: 1 feat
Human: 1 feat, plus Fluency (human)
Soldier: Combat Training class feature gives 1 feat at level 1 and one a level 3. The class also gives Weapon Proficiencies (close, pistol, rifle, grenade) and Armour Familiarity.
3rd level: 1 feat.
For a total of: 11 feats.

Just so i know I've grasped it Greg, the 11 feats would be:

1) 1st level feat
2) Human bonus feat
3) Fluency (human)
4) Combat Training bonus feat Lvl 1
5) Combat Training bonus feat Lvl 3
6) Weapons Proficiency(close)
7) Weapons Proficiency(pistol)
8 ) Weapons Proficiency(rifle)
9) Weapons Proficiency(grenade)
10) Armour Familiarity
11) 3rd Level feat
