A couple of ships are noticably better or worse than the others but then again that's true of all fleets(for example as a Narn player myself I can't see why I wouldn't choose a G'Vrahn in a War or Armageddon priority engagement and in reverse I can't see why I'd choose a T'Loth...well ever).
never underestimate the power of the T'Loth. They are hugely effective at soaking damage, have a respectable amount of firepower and take ages to kill. You will notice far fewer all stops with a t'loth around, you "may" notice a lot more boarding actions with a t'loth around. It's best use is in higher priority games where it almost has the presence of a battleship. I recently had one soaking fire for 2 rounds from 2 centurions, leaving the var'nics and ka'tocs to do the real fighting. If you ignore a t'loth for too long, it will not die before a game ends ;-)
