In the Dilettante book for MGT1, there was a possibility of rolling on the Portfolio table for substantially more cash (page 40 of Dilettante)
I suggest that for some (perhaps even most) careers, a Roll of 7 on the Cash table gives you a roll on a Portfolio Table. It could even be simplified so that you just get a 2D roll for a LOT more cash (perhaps even MCR 1 or more).
Maybe something for the Traveller Companion book?
