Capital ship definition?

P.68 of the main Traveller book draft says:

Capital Ships: Battleships and other ships over 2,000 tons.

But High Guard draft introduction says:

Capital Ship: A military ship of more than 5,000 tons.

Which is the correct definition? I'd go for a 5,000 one...

This exists in the 1st edition as well, with the Pilot skill defining a capital ship as >5,000 tons and High Guard defining it as >2,000 tons...

Oh I agree with you there. I brought up the discrepancy when we where discussing capital ship definition at one point, not sure what happened...

If I had a say, I would go with the 5,000 tons myself.
