Can ships collide in VAS? And how many planes in 1 flight?

Sorry for these questions. I don’t own a book, yet, but I want to make clear with some points in VAS.

Question 1: Can ships collide in VAS?
Question 2: Are you planning to write rules for ColdWar-Modern Era?
Question 3: How many planes can 1 carrier put into the battle? I don’t have rules yet, but I ordered some modern era minis for VAS. I want to paint them and then but the book. I own 3 British carriers – HMS Hermes, HMS Illustrious and HMS Invincible. I know that they carry Harrier planes. I want to represent them with 1/600 planes (1 plane for 1 plastic stand). So how many planes I need to buy?

1) as per the core rules no. Feel free to come up with rules for it though.
2) there are some player-written rules being written. check a few threads down, the title should give it away
3) i believe the world war two scale represents about four aeroplanes to a flight.
