Hello everyone
ONLY TWO WEEKS TILL ACTION 2007

Action is a annual wargames show hosted by the British Army , entry is totally free , also its free for traders too !
Accomadation is availabe either in the camp hotel(30 euros per night) or in transit building (7 Euros per night) .
A bar and food is available , traders from Germany , U.K , france and Belgium .
Its on the 16th,17th,18th of this month with 24hr gaming if thats your thing.

I shall be running the SST demo and the painting competition
Nimmys Horror Laden will be demo'ing B.EVO

The SST tourney will be two battles per player , until we get to the final.
For this i have built a SST type fort aka the SST 2 movie with smoke and light effects .
For those of you in the UK jump in a car split the fuel cost and ferry cost
its only three hours from dover-and worth the effort i can tell you.
Then pick up duty free on the way home-JOB DONE !

It will be in Mönchengladbach - Rheindahlen Joint Headquarters. Near the German - Dutch Border .

For example: Fly from London Stanstead to Flughafen Niederrhein (Weeze). Then rent a car for the last 100 kilometers :wink: . Or fly to Airport Düsseldorf and rent a car for about 75 km :wink: . Airports in Netherland i only know at Amsterdam (Schipohl). IMO to far away :roll: .

Or cross over with a ferry , or ... .

In Germany Autobahn (Highway) 61 (Venlo - Köln - Koblenz - ...). At Mönchengladbach - Holt follow the signs to JHQ.

Hi, i would love to come over this year but can't afford it and wasn't sure if it was on as the unit is on summer hols! it will be the first time i've missed it in 6 years. i'll be there next year as i should be posted to Hohne by the end of this year.
For those of you intrested, it is such a cool weekend. it's the only show you can start gaming/drinking friday and finshing on sunday and you actually get to game with traders!

Theres about 120 bugs and about 30 MI. The MI are not out numbered, they're just in a target rich enviroment!!

On saturday much fun with the little people. Next time got to take my little relatives with me.

Even some guys from Delft (Netherland) have been there. And of course my favorite Guys coming from Hessen (it`s still a long trip).

And nice St.Patricks Day females too

And so on ... . Thanks to the british organisation team.

And thanks to the German dealers (and Monika? taking care of my package) for support and having some stuff to buy. :wink:

They had to travel less time (approx. 2hours) than me (approx. 6 hours) coming from beyond Stuttgart
