Burger's ship viewer

It looks good, except that I use Opera, and in Opera it doesn't show the damage/crew grids at all, even in the main browser.

Centauri Republic Liati Advanced Cruiser War level? :shock:

What is the damage and crew?
36/18 and 40/20...

And can anyone translate to english AF/B/SAP/TD?
AF = Anti-fighter
B = Beam
SAP = Super AP
TD = Triple Damage

I'll put up a key to all abbreviations tomorrow.

Thanks Burger :P , You are the best, BTW Centauri Republic Liati Advanced Cruiser is war level? this could kill a Victory class ship.

I always thought the Bin'Tak was a fine warship. But I do believe the G'Vrahn is actually superior to it at War level. The Bin'Tak can bring some extra close range firepower and if I'm reading the ship viewer right is tougher in the sense of crew/damage, but the G'Vrahn makes up for this with firepower, interceptors, advanced jump point and whatnot.

The Ka'Bin'Tak will never be worth it though. It's not so great. Even without the problem that big ships face from criticals, it's firepower is only a slight improvement over the War level ships. It doesn't even have an advanced jump point.

You know, one thing I've never understood is their decision to make two ships at the same class, but have one obviously superior to the other. For example, the Minbari Sharlin vs. the Neshatan. Comparatively, the neshatan has 1 better hull, but has 1 pt less stealth, loses 8 dice all around to firepower, and no fighter capability. Surely 1 hull isn't worth that much of a deduction from the other stats. Before it made a little more sense, since it had lower number of attack dice, but all the fusion beams were twin linked. This made it a slightly more effective combat vessel in close, where the stealth doesn't matter quite as much, and the hull does...now, there is absolutely no situation where a Neshatan will perform better then a Sharlin.

yes it is...if you look closely its stats aren't the same either.

Burger: looks great! where ever did you get your inspiration for that awesome form? :P

Chern :lol:

Tell it to support CSS properly ;)

Very nice Shipviewer :D

If only it werent so small at 1280 pixels ^^

Just to make sure, the Warlock doesnt have fast reloaders on the missles? Damn that means its just as bad as the Nemesis.....ok a little bit better, but not by much :S

The sheets were primarily made for printing and using in games... I'll make a new format for online browsing at some point... probably next week.

You could do with putting the link in your Signature field as well ;)

I put the link for this on the ID forums, these sheets might get some use in the tourney tomorow.

Hehe.. I'll expect lots of typo reports tomorrow then!! :lol:

Quality......

I agree about the usefulness of these shipviewers; you need the rulebooks for special rules like the nova's pulse/laser combi-weapons, but having a printed sheet with damage tracks and the criticals on them makes it so much faster to play the game.

Which means it's more fun, and we buy more stuff.
(curse you.....)

[Looks at the Thoughtforce's stats.]
:shock:
ignores....repairs....250?....
That has to be the most unkillable thing I've ever....[looks at stats for new Vorlon Heavy Cruiser]
:shock:
<thud>

Not looking at the shadow cloud's statline. I'm too scared...

BTW: Shouldn't the Omega's pulse/command variants be listed as destroyers, not cruisers?

you think thoughtforce is bad try looking at the Krishiak ship..... hull 6, adaptive armour, 230 hit points, self repair....

Basically its a Vorlon Heavy Cruiser... but HULL 6!!!

And takes damage the standard way, not the Ancient way...............

What's MB, a trait in the lordship's armament, by the way? This is something ship specific?

I must say I find the name 'Hyper Graviton Blaster' appealing.

Feel tempted to go find an Avioki class and blow it to bits in one shot, yelling "this is what Graviton weaponry is supposed to do, fool!"

Just put on an Australian accent and say, "Thats not a Graviton beam... THIS is a Graviton beam!"
