Burger presents... Fleet Designer!

No, I've only changed the database to correct typos recently. No changes to the overall page structure.

A standard size would be handy as well. Then they would all stack nicely when printed and cut out. Excellent work.

They *should* all be a standard size... 640x300 pixels. Some of the newer ships however, such as the H-44, have ludicrous numbers of crew which do push the length down. I'm open to suggestions on how to fix this!

Z-Plan part 3 from S&P 42 is now up.

I don't think I'll be bothering with the coastal forces data, since there's a lot of special rules and questions which would likely only be answered with 3 months worth of bumping yet another thread in the S&P forum.

DM: see my reply in the S&P forum :)

Since the upcoming tournament uses ISD's, I've added them to the cards right after the class of the ship.

Ships with excessive numbers of crew (eg. H-44) now have smaller tick-boxes, to fit onto the card. They might be a bit small for ticking, but hey who's gonna run out of crew on those things anyway!

Are you planning to add the "minor" navies from DM's naval site for the
fleet builder as well ?

Be fun to make a combined force of UK & Dutch ships for matchng up
against pure Germans in channel, or Japan in pacific scenarios

If they are published in S&P then I'll publish them too. My ship viewer tries to only show "official" ships and stats. I know DM wrote most of them anyway, but they are only tourney-legal once they've been officially published by Mongoose.

I think you have missed Depth Charges off the Italian Navagatori Destroyers!

I played against four subs yesterday thinking I had no depth charges!

Ahhh,

Ok, didn't know you were basing the fleet maker utility on tournament-only
nations...thought it was being built as a general-purpose fleet maker.

Well, it is for making any fleet not just tournaments. But it only contains official stats. If I start putting every single fan-created ship in there, I'd be overrun and there would be no common ground for people to work to. There'd be people turning up to a tournament with the ships, thinking because they are on the ship viewer, they must be legal ;)

Well, I for one am very grateful to you. An excellent resource.

Though I've noticed a (very, very small) bug. Using the Fleet Designer, I get a '0' in the Special column against the Y Turret an a York-class cruiser.

Cheers, Martyn

Fixed :)
