Broadswords cut through TL10 Combat Armor (yay or nay?)

I thought I would revisit this. Just from how I imagine the way combat armor and broadswords look and feel, I have no problem with this at first glance. If you agree, continue.

Now use another 4D weapon against the armor, like a gauss rifle. Does the sword still work how first imagined it would before comparing it with the gauss? I'm still ok with both weapons being 4D. I'm trying out different effects and damage rolls on my calculator.

The Gauss, in particular, gets AP 5, so it's actually much more effective against Combat Armor, unless I'm mistaken in terms of how AP works. Generally, I think it's cool that a broadsword is still a pretty effective weapon in combat.

Because of potentially how much more powerful guns will get in CSC, I'm ok with Broadsword being 4D. Yes on paper it looks a bit weird, but logically, being in armour that can be defeated by a combat rifle doesn't make you immune to a massive blade being swung violently at you.
